Great game but there is a fatal glitch that makes the app crash after every time its opened. It has been more than 3 months and this glitch has not been fixed.

This is an excellent game and this update offers a lot of improvements. The only bug I found so far is that every time you get an achievement, it keeps showing the same achievement over and over and over. It eventually goes away, but it comes down from the top at least 10 times. Other than that, amazing game!

Great game, love the rock dynamics. Controls simple but excellent. My only complaint is that you cant kill monsters right above you. I feel like if I can shovel a cracked rock right before it crushes me I should be able to do the same with a spider.

This is probably the most addicting game I have ever played on any mobile device. I am looking forward to seeing what is coming up in future updates!! Im thinking maybe different outfits or hair colour for Doug?

This game is amazing. Very simple gameplay, and so addicting. I cant stop playing this game. 5/5

Very fun and captivating game, especially since the latest update. My only complaint is that there are still some pretty significant bugs. Particularly once you get to about 3000m deep, lava starts graphically disappearing even when its still there. Nothing more frustrating than getting to a high score and then dying to invisible lava. Great game otherwise

Thought Id try it. Its not terrible.. but probably wont be staying on my phone/ipad.

I always check in on updates to this game and am pleasantly surprised at the changes. Its a finely tuned game, and the care out into it shows.

Rarely do you find an app not only with repeated play value, but with an author who actively tries to improve the game and constantly adds upgrades. Excellent game, one of my favorite on the App Store.

It is one of the best mobile games Ive ever played. I wish authors made some updates to it.

This game is unputdownable. I downloaded 6 free apps for the iPad and tried them out. Five of them got deleted off the device after just a few minutes, but a couple of hours later I was still playing Doug dug. Its definitely in the "Ill just have one more go" category.

I have definitely given up hours to develop my skills at this game and hate it when I achieve a level of mastery and want to continue getting better at it, only to find that the developer has gone and made something unpredictable and harder to avoid being killed by. I loved earlier versions, now Im just exhausted, I cant get up to 500,000 and it takes too many hours to get your chops - and so play less. Give us a break dev! Make another version thats impossible for the gaming geeks but seriously STOP making it impossible to really learn how to be good at it!

At first, its hard to see any rhyme or reason to why you got squished, but keep at it. Eventually, you see there is a rudimentary physics engine at work and understanding it allows you to make much more progress. Also, as simple as the audio is, its perfect. The rush and deafening crumble of a large collapse never ceases to thrill me.

Unfortunately, the latest update made it much more difficult to play. The crates that had the helmet, jackhammer, and invincible Doug in them have become nearly nonexistent making progress extremely slow. Ive seen Doug died way too many times since the update. Put it back the way it was. This is lame. Less fun. Im done with this version - and its barely 2 days. I do like the dragon though.

I dont mind the power-ups (immortal, gold rush, jackhammer) becoming somewhat more rare, but this is ridiculous. The last three games I played, I died the same way: I met an ogre and had no power-ups. Thats a situation I cant avoid or do anything about, so that tells me this update was poorly conceived and tested. Until his game is updated again, I cant recommend it to anyone.
