Addicting but also annoying

I have definitely given up hours to develop my skills at this game and hate it when I achieve a level of mastery and want to continue getting better at it, only to find that the developer has gone and made something unpredictable and harder to avoid being killed by. I loved earlier versions, now Im just exhausted, I cant get up to 500,000 and it takes too many hours to get your chops - and so play less. Give us a break dev! Make another version thats impossible for the gaming geeks but seriously STOP making it impossible to really learn how to be good at it!
