Its rather refreshing how this game doesnt offer any kind of IAP. What makes me come back to this game is how easily it plays. One finger is all you need to guide Doug down into the depths of the earth. Its easily a top contender for my time when I have a few minutes to kill.

Very bad li budget game. Probably took 20 minutes in the morning to make it! Dont buy! Waste of money.

Version 1.4.1 works good but this update crashes just after loading. iphone 4 ios 7.1.2. Love the game. Hope they fix this version.

Thanks to the update, I have seen immortal 2 times in over 80 plays, and only 7 shovels. A great example of " fix it until it breaks" . Ranks up there with New Coke and Pepsi Clear. UPDATE!!!!!!! Newest update restores the fun! Power ups have been adjusted, far less random deaths, more gems on backgrounds, timings have been adjusted! This is my familys favorite game fit the iPad!

This is your new .5-5 minute game. Ive played 300. Love it.

One of the only games that never gets uninstalled from my phone. The developer still supports the game and continually tweaks it for added enjoyment. Highly recommended.

Seems like it should be too simple, or not enough for a great game, but I find myself pouring hours of time into Doug Dug. trying to get higher scores, more treasure, dig deeper, or clear more rocks. Highly recommended.

Ive had this funny little game on my phone forever and find myself returning over and over again. Where some have come and gone, Doug remains. He is, at his very core, a survivor. Thank you.

Hey, Thanks a lot for this wonderful game. I play it since the beginning and I love it. I actually enjoy little tweaks and changes every version brings in. The only downside is a need to start over again and go through firs 200 meters which is no challenge any more for an experienced player. Would you mind giving to players who already achieved given depth a boost in exhchange of a high score? Id gladly start with -5000 in 100m, -10000 in 250m and -25000 in 500 meters. It would also make it more difficult because with a negative score it would take more time to buy the helmet or a drill. Anyway, thanks a lot for this awesome game!!!

This is a great game that is extremely easy to pick up. It is always being improved and updated.

I like it, but I dont understand what determines whether a piece of ground will collapse. It seems totally random and I cant really figure out how to know when I should be cautious or not. UPDATE: I think Ive realized finally that the trick is to take it slow. Im still terrible, but this is always my go-to iPhone game when Im bored. UPDATE 2: Still the only game I consistently re-install whenever I restore my iPhone. I still dont really get it, and I feel like I am terrible at it, but its still fun for some reason! The developers recent update about how he plays his own game all the time and tries to make it more fun according to his needs really resonates me as a indie game developer myself.

So iPhone games seriously come and go on my phone almost on a daily basis. This game has withstood the test of time, though, and is always the lone standing, go-to game on my iPhone. The overall flow of its gameplay is excellent, and great for quick plays. Its not riddled with menus and IAPs. Its just simple, skill-based gameplay at its finest. One of my favorite iOS games ever.

It reminds me of a more simplistic version of Spelunky which is a great compliment. Ill definitely be playing this for a while.

Super fun! An addictive digger game. Just wanna go a little deeper... beat the high score... get a little more stuff... The Dev updates and tweaks the game- constantly trying to improve it. It seems to be a labor of love and it shows! Its well worth every star!!!

Found this gem when searching "Spelunky" on the app store. If you like Spelunky then youll appreciate this game. Very simple but has surprising "depth" and replay value. One thing I ask is to have the option to revert back to the old high score table. Kinda pointless to get rewarded for a score of $0 - and I would like to be able to see my top 10 every time. Aside from that, Doug dug is a classic, hope the developer continues to update and respond to feedback.

The developer cares about their game and is continuing to update and improve it. Cant recommend it enough.
